Tampa’s Leading Pelvic Floor Therapists
Dr. Saige C. Evans, OTD, OTR/L
South Tampa Clinical Director
Pelvic Floor Therapist
Dr. Saige Evans’ specialty is navigating the vulvovaginal or pelvic pain experience with her clients. She recognizes firsthand how frustrating it can be to live a life with an invisible pelvic pain condition and wants her clients to know that they are not alone in their journey.
Dr. Saige frequently works with clients experiencing vaginismus, vulvodynia, interstitial cystitis, pudendal neuralgia, and other pelvic pain conditions to help them get to the root of their problems, find long-term relief, and get their lives back. For optimal outcomes, she prioritizes seamless collaboration with her clients’ medical care teams.
She offers manual therapies, including myofascial and trigger point release, both internally and externally as appropriate. She also looks beyond the pelvic area to other factors that may be perpetuating the pain cycle. Her background in Sensory Integration following completion of the USC Sensory Integration brings a unique perspective to pelvic floor therapy, offering insight into how our bodies process and respond to all the sensory information constantly flooding our nervous system and how this relates to pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and incontinence. This includes analyzing potential contributors within the person's daily habits and routines and supporting their nervous system with down training both in the clinic and with a plan for at home.
